BM - (BOOK MATCHED) Components of the same grain matched to a definite width, alternating tight side and loose side.
RM - (RUNNING MATCHED) Book clipped components kept together in sequence as?they develop and not clipped to dimension.
PM - (PLEASINGLY MATCHED) Natural face components matched for pleasing appearance.
U - (UNIFORM) All red (Heart) or all white (Sap) components, matched for pleasing appearance.
MM - (MIS-MATCHED) The grain and colour characteristics of adjacent components are different.
PE - (PLANK-EFFECT) Intentional mix of grain and/or colour to have plank effect (or plank look). They include slip or swing splicing.

B. SPLICED OR WHOLE PIECE

C. SPLICED ON V-GROOVING PATTERN (MM)
- Spliced on No Pattern
- Spliced on Custom Pattern

90% or more of the veneer shall be plus or minus 0.002 inches, (0.05 mm) and no veneer shall exceed plus or minus 0.005 inches (0.13 mm) for veneer up to 0.050 inches (1.3 mm) thick.

Length and width shall be as follows of the acknowledged size.
Lengths plus or minus H" Width plus 1", minus G"

1. In Category No. 1 the maximum number of components shall be limited to 8 pieces per panel.
2. The outside components of Category No. 1 Face shall not contain taper in excess of 10% according to veneer width.
3. Four inches shall be the minimum width of the outside components for Category No. 1 Face.
4. In Category No. 2 and Category No. 3 the maximum number of components shall be limited to 10 pieces per?panel.

1. Maximum number of pcs. per crate shall be 700 for .75?MM, 800 for .60 MM.
2. The spacing of the three centre crossers of a standard crate shall be 24H" centre to centre.

Is to be on the same side of the sheet and throughout the crate.
End tape is to be one inch within the sheet.

Moisture content shall be 10% to 12% . (Tolerances are plus or minus 2%)
